Net Loss Per Common Share [Abstract] | |
Net Loss per Common Share |
10.Net Loss per Common Share Basic loss per common share is computed by dividing net loss by the weighted average number of shares of common stock outstanding for the period. Diluted loss per common share is also computed by dividing net loss by the weighted average number of shares of common stock outstanding, but also reflects the potential dilution that could occur if securities or other contracts to issue common stock were exercised or converted into common stock that would then share in earnings, and such calculation excludes common shares in treasury. As of September 30, 2013 and December 31, 2012, there were stock options and warrants to acquire 32,358,209 and 29,397,937 shares of our common stock, respectively, which are the potentially dilutive securities of the Company.
