The effective
tax rate for the three and six months ended June 30, 2021 and 2020 was zero percent. As of June 30, 2021, a full valuation
allowance has been established to reduce the Company’s net deferred income tax assets. As such, no tax benefit related to
the Company’s pre-tax loss was recognized for any of the periods presented.
The Company’s corporate returns
are subject to examination for the 2018 and 2019 tax years for federal income tax purposes and subject to examination for the 2018 and 2019 tax years in one state jurisdiction. The Company does not have any reserves for income taxes that
represent the Company’s potential liability for uncertain tax positions.
